An international company based in Ghana is looking for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing department; thus handling all brands that are distributed by the company and its subsidiaries.


Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Essential Functions

  • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs
    • Includes coordinating with all suppliers for all adverts (billboard, print, tv, etc.)
    • Organizing and ordering of marketing materials such as Tshirts, Caps, Pens etc.
    • Manage online and digital marketing (Social media such as Facebook, creation of a website, updating of company’s app etc.)
    • Attends to sponsorship proposals.
    • Ensures branding is present in all materials used as well as in the company premises.
    • Work with graphic artists to create adverts to maintain brand image
  • Monitor marketing budget to be submitted at the end of the year
  • Spearhead planning and organizing of events to help strengthen our position as market leaders in the country, such as paint seminars, colour workshops, exhibitions etc.
  • Plan and write PR write ups for all brands
  • Coordinate with Distribution managers for requirements on distributor upgrades, paint seminars, marketing campaigns, marketing materials such as charts and other literature etc.
  • Plan and implement marketing efforts to sustain the image of The Colour Centre

Marginal Functions

  • Provide additional related duties as required.
  • Attend meetings, seminars and training courses as required
  • Assist various departments with marketing materials needed to support them


  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in marketing and sales.
  • Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office, Coreldraw or Adobe Photoshop, and ability to learn internal business systems).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, in English .
  • Good analytical thinking.
  • Strong creative mind.
