  • EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CEO / BLOGGER

    JOB BRIEF

    A reputable leading importer of premium sanitary ware and tiles company in Ghana, with partnership with world renowned manufacturers of quality brands is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant/Blogger to the CEO.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Admin:

    • Email management and organization
    • Scheduling and calendar management
    • Tracking growth and stats
    • Taking care of WordPress updates
    • WordPress plugin research and setup
    • Bookkeeping
    • Email screening and sending pre-written emails to answer FAQs
    • Administratively Assisting the CEO in the running of the company.

    Blogging:

    • Blog post research to include facts and tips
    • Creating special pages like Instagram landing
    • Moderating comments
    • Editing + optimizing images
    • Proofreading + editing posts
    • Adding internal links
    • Helping with SEO optimization
    • Creating an editorial calendar
    • Technical to-dos like category changes or redirects

    Marketing:

    • Preparing and sending weekly newsletters
    • Creating content upgrades or opt-ins
    • Creating an email welcome series or sales funnel
    • Adding sign-up forms to blog
    • Creating Pinterest-worthy graphics for blog posts
    • Creating Instagram and Facebook graphics
    • Posting to social media
    • Managing and growing Social Media accounts

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Communication
    • Ability to use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects
    • Familiar with use of Trello, Google Calendar for planning, management, and scheduling.

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
    • 2-3 years of administrative assistant experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask  
    • Problem-solving and decision making skills
    • Ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to executives as needed
    • Skilled in the use of standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, business telephone systems, projectors, fax machines).
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion
    • Exceptional attention to detail
